What a day on the greens! The Harvard Gulch Golf Invitational brought together 104 players for a fun-filled afternoon of golf and community spirit, all in support of Cottonwood Institute’s mission to awaken the changemaker within every student. Thanks to everyone who came out, we raised an incredible $12,790 to connect more students to nature and inspire them to protect it.
Competition was fierce but friendly, with plenty of memorable moments along the way. Congratulations to our team champions, Draw/Shank Redemption, who posted an impressive 23! The side contests kept things lively, with putts sinking, pins getting dialed in, and even a lightning-fast 16-second relay.
And of course, we can’t forget the style points – special recognition goes out to Bogey Farmers, Hole in None, and Piña Paralda for rocking the “Best Dressed Team” category!
Beyond the scores, the day was filled with fun side games, creative costumes, and plenty of laughter. With our participants racing through the relay challenge or celebrating a long putt that finally dropped, the Invitational was a reminder that community impact can be joyful, playful, and deeply meaningful.
A heartfelt thank you goes to our amazing volunteers, without whom this event wouldn’t have been possible, and to our generous sponsors: Ryan Feaster with Realty ONE Group Five Star, CMG Home Loans/Bopp Team, Ratio Beerworks, Hopdoddy Burger Bar, Epic Western, CoBank, and Gaston Photography. Your support ensures that middle and high school students across Colorado can keep exploring the outdoors, building confidence, and finding their voice as environmental stewards.
